Better to just get rid of tensioners all together if you can. Given a long enuff period of time, they will fail.

I currently have an 2003 88" FLHTI with 140K and nothing but 3 chain chain tensioner changes. But I did develope a vibration after I changed out the last set. Still trying to figure that out.

73K+ on my 06' 88ci. with the original spring tensioners.
I have all the parts and the BBP, (Thanks to Geiser Glide) to facilitate a quality repair. I am also using Cyco's new tensioners!
