With initials like G.M. people may call him Chevy. That's not a bad thing, but its not my name. I grew up in the south with the initials G.D.N., you can only imagine what the racist mofo's did with that around here in the sixties and seventies. It's kind of odd, I was a late bloomer and there came a time that they were silenced.

There are two things in life that I will not tolerate, racist and bullies.

Patti, pm me the boys last name so I can work on the other two.

My expected grandson is named Aidan Christopher, which is a great relief considering some of the names that were considered. Harley was one- no kidding, it was seriously in the running along with Hunter. Picture it: Harley Hunter Hayword. It sounds like someone hyperventilating.

Lots of nice slightly unusual Celtic names around. Declan is one of my favorites. I like Galen, too.

Of course, if you really want to go with bike names, Husquivarna has a certain cache.

I only know sewing machines with that name.

I love both Celtic names.

When my daughter was carrying my grandson we were all bugging her to death asking what name they had decided on. She finally revealed that she was going to name him Memphis. Memphis?!? We don't have family from Tennessee! She told me no, she was naming him after the ancient city in Egypt. It got us off her back for a while anyway. . . .
