Not to get beat like Dave is about too. but I have to agree with him to some extent.

For ride-ability and performance I total understand the choice in the BMW and that really should be all that matters... but man I wish their bikes had a bit more soul. They remind me of a robot... amazing abilities and craftsmanship but missing that spark that makes them feel alive. Harley definitely has some major issues and has never been a symbol of durability, but they have always managed to instill that energy in their product and design.

So the answer we take over both companies and merge them to make the perfect bike...

With that said I would still like to own one... and a new street glide and a Ducati Monster... oh hell... one of everything.

I've spent a total of one hour on the GSA, but in that brief amount of time I was able to tell that the bike had character. Had it not been for the thousand dollar deposit I had to leave at the dealer, I would have gone bashing through a river just to see how the bike handled it.

As I said, I could definitely see carrying on a torrid, long-term relationship with one of these things.

That's the biggest obstacle for me. No matter how good they are, trashy women don't get damp looking at a guy on a BMW.

The quasi-Shawshank Redemption dialog in Morgan Freeman's voice that's going through my head right now...
