Map has been tuned by Firehouse Performance. I think I should have him reload that map first?

A real map written to the PCM, not a PC III in line thingy.

Mike, there's no map to reload. Your ECM still has the stock map in it. The PC III just takes the stock signal from the ECM, tweaks the output a bit, and then passes it along to whatever parts needs it. All the 'tuning' is done via the PC III. That's why the PC III is considered a 'piggyback' tuner.

First, unhook the PC III and run Beulah without it, like we tried in Wisconnie. Don't push her too hard, just see if the stalling at idle goes away.

If Beulah acts normal afterwards, consider having Uke's reflash her ECM with a Stage I download and see how she runs after that. You're runnin' the SE mufflers and AC, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Have 'em make a few afr/power pulls just to get some base numbers.

d j's runnin' the Stage II 103 Harley re-flash in Traveler. His bike runs pretty good with just that.

If you decide to do cams later, then you'll need a tuner like the SESPT, TTS or the Power Vision to set things right. With the PV, you'll need to add o2 sensors to the head pipes if you wanna self tune. If not, plan on spending some time on the dyno, which you'll have to do with the SESPT or TTS.

I ran the PC III on the 'b' for way too long. I could never get her to run right, try as I may. There are definitely better tuning alternatives than the PC III.
