I have mucho years with Miks.
when your low speed jetting is correct, you should have the air mix screw about 1 and 1/4 to 1 and 1/2 turns out from bottom. It should be purring nice and should be warm when you check. If you have 2 to 2 and 1/2 turns out, it needs to be leaner jetted. Vice versa for being too rich. Your needle regulates probably 90 percent of your riding. Moving the needle up or down advances or retard when the fuel is allowed to come in during 1/4 to 3/4 throttle. If you need more fuel, get a richer needle and set your clip position in the middle for initial testing. Your main should be ok unless your running a monster motor with alot of headwork and large number cams. |
