JUST A QUESTION......
....Due to the fact that my motor has been "freshened up", just a bit, I am in need of a better starter.
Has anyone used the H-D high performance 1.4kw starter? If so, thoughts? I want to go no more than 1.4kw so I don't have to replace battery cables. Also I have been told to stay away from most aftermarket units. Is there any dealers still doing any online discounts? Also...anyone running with the Ultracool oil cooler? Thinking about their Reefer 2.0 Definitely need an oil cooler. As usual, your opinions.....well, you know, are your opinions.

When I needed a new starter, I went with the recommendation from Smart Dave. 1.4 HD. I've tried the alternatives, and they were not any better.
I've heard good things about the Ultra Cool. Shop buddy of mine here local put one on a touring bike in for a bunch of stuff. Slick unit, but not cheap.
