Anyone have any idea?

Stop.

I know most of us have NO idea about anything, but.......

Seriously. Anyone have any idea if the new Mt. Rushmore batwing fairings can be retrofitted to earlier Electra Glides? I know you would have to use both inner and outer fairing, but will they line up on the mounts? Would you need new mounts and would they line up on the triple tree?

You just want the "new" software glitched infotainment radio don't you?

At one point on the return home from ES my volume control stopped working.

I tried turning the unit on / off several times while rolling, didn't fix.

At the next gas stop turned it off, then shut down the bike.

Upon restart the volume control was working again...

Anything can be done with money. The forks are a different size, but it should work.

I'm betting you could buy a good used '14 for about what it would cost.

Well the only other difference is the mail slot. While useful it's not enough of a help to go through all that.

I had this happen as well. Shutting completely off then back on fixes it. There was also a firmware upgrade available. I did the upgrade and haven't had it occur again but only did the upgrade about a week ago.

Text function still doesn't work with iPhone.

Harley can barely get electricity from the coil to the plugs. Now you expect firmware upgrades and texting and iPhoning.

The canbus stays alive as long as the wheels are moving for ABS and Speedometer purposes, when the Speedometer stops reading the canbus goes to sleep and resets itself. Mine did it for the first 5 months until the first firmware update was done.

Can't wait to see what happens (stops working) when the mother ship leaves from behind the moon and travels to some other solar system...
