Blubs H4 PIAA
Anybody ever use the PIAA blub H4 for a Road Glide . My concerns are if they heat up to much ?Stock blubs are junk and Daymakers break my piggy bank.HID use a ballast and go out.

There are 3 bulbs with the h4 designation.bp1260/h4 55/60 watts,bp1210/h4 80/100 watts ,bp1213/h4 100/130 watts, I have run the 1210 in my RK for 5 years before I put led in it.

Did my HID conversion about 2 1/2 years and approx. 16K-18K mi. ago and still working fine. Lots of light and a whole lot cheaper than LEDs.
Here's the link to thread clicky

I had to get to get home to locate this site as it didn't appear when I googled it from work. I believe they have a decent offering: http://headlightbulbs.com/h4_bulbs.php
They also have the passing light 881 bulbs in five hues: http://headlightbulbs.com/881_bulbs.php 60 day money back and a year warranty. I believe I'm going to try them out. Prices are decent and free shipping as well. BOB

The end result to the saga of the BULB...I have chosen to go with the PIAA 70856 H4 Extreme White anti-vibration 60/65 watt. In a Road Glide there are two bulbs. So far so good. This is the poor boy lighting method, hey it works!
