The Acids were one of the first smokes I had. I had to switch after a while. I like Ashton's and the occasional Fuente. I'm also liking Tatauje more now.

The Tabak Especial Negra Robusto I got from Russ was greatness (to my uneducated, pedestrain palate), and have a sampler of the Cafe Con Leche and Red Eye coming, along with a 10 pack of Cafecita Negra.

Hoyo De Monterrey double english corona with a maduro wrapper..
Perfection. http://www.cigar.com/cigars/viewcigar.asp?brand=88 I much prefer Hondurans over Dominicans. I like em spicy and peppery, just like my wimmens. Oh yeah and well seasoned.

I belong to "Cigar.com"'s cigar of the month club and receive 5-6 different sticks each month.
I was keeping a log of what I liked and what I did not. I'm partial to the maduros and don't care much for the Drew Estate "Acids". I'm going to order "Genesis" by Ramon Bueso. They look tasty, and I'll report back. "Obsidians" are a good smoke as well...

You need to taste around. Cigar of the month club would be a good idea. You will know when you find the cigar for you. It will be like you are lighting up candy.
Mine is the La Unica #500 maduro.

OK, today's report from my litter strewn path to making all the cigar mistakes early and getting them out of the way. (Oh, yeah, thanks again, Russ.)
So, my Coffee To Go sampler got here. 3 Cafe Con Leche, 2 Red Eye, in a 5 stick Herf-a-dor. Decided to try a Cafe Con Leche last night, since there were 3 of those. Cutter isn't here yet, so I sliced the tip off with a new razor blade. I'll give that a 5 out of 10. Poured some Glenmorangie in a glass w/ an ice cube and headed for the deck. Hadn't filled up a lighter yet, nor have I purchased a surplus engine off of an F-111 to carry around in my pocket for the express purpose of lighting these things, so I used the wooden matches cigar.com sent w/ my stuff. I'll give that, like, a 3. I didn't like the combination of that Scotch and that cigar very well, and I think I liked the Tabak Especial Robusto Negra better overall than the Cafe Con Leche. The Cafe Con Leche doesn't have a shaggy foot, and has the Maduro wrapper at both ends with the Connecticut Shade wrapper in the middle. I like the all Maduro Negra better, I think, and I prefer the parejo shape to the figuardo (torpedo) shape of the Con Leche. Anyway, so, it was hot out there and Boop wanted to go in and had figured that I was just going to smoke part of it anyway, so I tried to cut off the end with a razor blade in an ashtray. I'll give that a 1.5. Thing's on fire farther in than you'd think, and a clean slice w/ a razor blade just doesn't happen anyway. It's like trying to cut shielded asbestos rope. What was left was ruined about an inch or so up to boot. Fired it up with some Pike's Place coffee this morning after breakfast, and that combo was better than last night's. And apart from the cigar being ugly, it burned well. It even started burning quite evenly after it got past the ruined part. The Robusto Negra I got from Russ was really good with beer, and I suppose the Cafe Con Leche would be, too. The Red Eye is supposed to have more Ligero in it, so I'll make sure I have that with something cold and hoppy, I think. It's got a pigtail cap and is parejo shaped.
