Sad day today
Going to bury my good friend Raul today....there are about 10 of us from work who ride and we will be riding to his funeral...I know the Southern Cruisers and PGR will be there as well....Raul was a huge supporter of the PGR here...never missing a mission. Damn I sure will miss him...............

Aww man Al - I'm so sorry about your friend. You've had more than your share of griefs and worries lately. Hope this means some smooth sailing for a good bit after the bumps.

I'm back
The funeral was very touching....there were about 40 bikes...and they brought Raul's bike on a trailer and that led the procession from the church to the cemetery. After the graveside service they fired up his bike and blipped the throttle a couple of times.......there wasn't a dry eye to be found after that. After the service a buddy and myself took a nice 224 mile ride....it was a beautiful Hill Country afternoon. The strange thing is that Raul gave my buddy the Angel Bell that he has on his bike...and my buddy kept remarking that he could really hear the bell today....even over his exhaust...my exhaust and his MP3. We figure it was just Raul letting us know that he was with us...and he was enjoying the ride. He will be missed.
