If all mini mules are like the smart little demon my son had, they could be trained as attack animals and sent into situations where first the bad guys would be disarmed by hysterical laughter at the sight, only to be knocked down, trampled, and bitten to pieces by the attack mini mules.

Mules are in demand and pretty darn expensive- you might be surprised by how widely they're still used.

I'd love to go to Mule Days if Bishop wasn't so far away. Heck, I haven't gone to Frozen Dead Guy Days in Nederland yet.

The first anniversary of my dear quarterhorse mare's death is coming up soon. I will miss her all my life. She lived to the equivalent age of a 77 year old person. Her gelding partner died only a few months later; he was never very happy after she left the world. Sometimes it's hard to grasp I can't just drive out to the ranch and see them.
