One of my 27w sealed beam spots died yesterday on my 05 Ultra. I'm looking at options. It's only a 2 wire connection. Both wires connect via independent spade connectors. I'd like to change to something where I only have to replace the bulb or a supply source where I'm not dependent on the dealer network. Suggestions ?

Skip,

You might want to check the harness where they removed the flasher unit for the Police wig wags. They remove that at the dealers when they recycle police bikes. Perhaps there is a short/bad connection where the spliced the wires back together.

I am working on this right now. Looking through catalog. Paul is right. It has 90 degree connector.

Also the bolt that holds the housing trim is differant then my 01. Not 1/4 not 7mm. It came with the philips head in, I had to use a stubby to get it out. So I flipped it so philips on outside, in case I have to change on the road, which I have done a couple time.

My 01 has a wagner 55w bulb. The the spades on the bulb are tapped and the wires have ring terminals. Not sure if this is stock though.

I would prefer to use the stock connector on the 07. Still cyphering on this.
