If you should find yourself on the PCH just south of Big Sur, Nacemiento~Ferguson is worth the side trip.

If in Boise, take 52/55 North to McCall, 95/12 to Lewiston and even to Yakima. Absolutely gorgeous country up there.

Yep, all those places I listed make for a nice couple days ride. Start down in Mexican Hat, go up Moki Dugway and then cross Lake Powell on the ferry, go up to Hanksville and then west from Hanksville through Capitol Reef. Turn left on the west side of Capitol Reef toward Escalante and you'll catch Devils Backbone and at the west end of it you find the Kivu Coffeehouse. On through Escalante to Bryce Canyon. After Bryce you go west to catch Hwy 89, you can go north to I 70 or south and catch Utah 14 over the mountains to Cedar City at I 15. South on I 15 to Vegas or west on Utah 56 to NV 319. 56/319 catches hwy 93(at a mostly abandoned mining town with an overhead gondola system) north on 93 takes you to Hwy 50 at Ely. Tom, Geno and I took this route a few years back. Great riding and No super slab.

I was hoping to work on it Sunday, but since it appears I may be working Saturday, Sunday may be busy with other things.
