Telling friend about my great PA ride
And how a couple of times I got into a motel way late at night and ended up having a dinner(s) of a gas station ham and cheese or the year old fig bars I had stashed the year before in the Tour Pac®, (more like hard tack fig bars).
He suggested I could pack a couple of packages of Mountain House freeze dried backpacking food in the bike. He highly recommends the biscuits and gravy pack.

Something I'd never thought about.
Easy enough to heat water in a microwave. Hot supper in 10 minutes or less. Reviews of the biscuits and gravy pouch are pretty darned positive! 5 stars!

I'be had the biscuits and gravy and several other flavors. They aren't bad at all, and won't have the laxative effect of year old fig newtons. The fire roasted vegetables are the bomb
