Still planning a ride a friend want to do.
From here to Cedar City UT, Up to Evanston, Thermo and up to Rushmore. Problem is his return to home is sooner. Have to find out if he's OK with pushing 400 mile days. May just have to readjust to just get to Thermo, Kirby (distillery) and Cody (quick museum visit) and head back home. I'm working on another guy who has a tupper ware BMW,(K1200LT) but I think he's scared the women folk will take over all the closets and dressers and move all his clothes out into the garage while we're gone for a week. Me? well old timers have called me a motor hound in the past...

So now instead of Ride to the Dakota's, it's become Ride to Rushmore...
So Wendover, (or Lake Point outside of Salt Lake), then to Laramie and up to Rushmore... Depending how his neck holds out we may take US 40, outside of Salt Lake, through Steamboat Springs and up to Laramie...

Rain? What is this rain you speak of?
Our lake is still about 10' above pool level but it costs money to water my yard. You'd think they would appreciate the help in lowering the lake level. No real rain since the record setting rains in May.
