Monday Night
Almost 11:00 and it is 100 degrees outside. I'm not outside.
The grass fire in Gatesville is 100% contained and no prisons needed to be evacuated. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer although I don't know if I will be able to tell. Hot is hot. And we have the Saharan invasion. The air is bad for some folks to breath but as for me, I am not going to mess with it. It's me and my air conditioner for awhile.

Are you sure it's Monday night?
We are "sweltering" under the low 90's for the next few days, only cools off to the mid or high 50's at night, and getting smoke from West Yosemite that is pumping over the mountain here.

It's days like these I don't so much dislike working at night.

Tuesday night. I've been retired so long that I sometimes don't know what day of the week it is.
