Great brand and caliber. Superfast and flat. What optic are you looking at?
Very nice rifle.

JK, I knew you have a few other hard hitters.

Some guys at the range complained about the 7MM RM recoil. I tell them to just hold it tighter to the shoulder to reduce the space and amount of travel.

Also works well with the military steel plate on the Mosin...

I love with a little Smith work or even the Timmney I managed to fit myself in the boat paddle Ruger when it takes you by surprise on the bench. My true favourites is with my CZ's set triggers. I would never click them forward to hunt but I get some true sh*ts and giggles off the bench with others....

Speaking of the hard hitting Mosin's we are awash in a metric poop ton of them. After working out exchange rates from Vegas I'm sure that all the prices below are 29.99..... Lemme know the address to ship to!!

Sadly I turned my nose up at them, when I could buy the M44's at $70 range, because old Russian junk, then I inherited one, a M44 well made for what they are from where / when they are made.

Could have bought many, years ago, without registering them upon purchase as now we are made to do even with long guns.

I've held a couple of the Chinese M53's and those fit more into my feelings of lack of quality I used to hold for the Russian ones.

I wished I had know about the Swiss K 31 long ago also.

Also have a MAS 36 but that ammo is hard to find in the local gun shop, ordering online is out now, here. Unless I can find a LGS willing to order it for me, but even with cash up front they don't want to be bothered.

K31's mint in walnut and name tag under the butt plate are approaching $800 here, a far cry from $275-300 just a few scant years ago... SVT's are another weird one in todays market, wasn't long ago that you couldn't give one away but now a nice one fetches quite the premium.

You my good man need to invest in a reloading bench, that MAS needs to be exercised and all French jokes aside I always secretly wanted one, even tho my K98's would start a rebellion..

Why Thank You, I thought so too and the wife has pretty fair taste in firearms. Hogs are starting to invade Saskatchewan and one of the only critters besides pests (hogs?!?!?) that we can hunt at night. Perhaps I will be able to join you shortly with knocking down some of these destructive critters...
