On site trout fishing in the pond. Bit steep at $50.00 half hour, but you can catch and release until your arm hurts. Saw a 10 lb Rainbow landed. Appears to be a brood stock mix of Golden or Rainbow trout.

We're staying here tonight pre-riding routes.

So, we found some roads to ride and one not to...lol
We saw a bear, deer, turkeys and a lot of fish.

Do you guys wants us to make breakfast at the cabins before we ride or ride to breakfast???

Not a huge fan of bear. Probably depends on how you fix it. Deer makes good sausage. Turkey isn’t very breakfasty but fish is good.

It was a good 20 miles on dirt, gravel and a mix. Lot's of vehicles coming out on a Sunday. Quite dusty. The creek is stocked every Saturday, and the local's know it. At least 2 dozen vehicles at various parking spots along the creek. Another dozen at the lake which is alleged to be the best trout lake in WV. Record 10 lb, 28 in from the lake still stands today. Nice place to drive in to. Not so much riding.. It's going to take some doing to get rid of all the road dust.

Lots of state forest land and free camping in designated areas. Small campers, pop ups, tents or short camp trailers would be ok. All boondocking only. The south entrance (our exit route) was steeper, with numerous switchbacks. Not really 42' motorhome friendly. From the north side, the road was better, but entry into the spaces required coming in from the other direction as there weren't many opportunities to turn around a large RV.
