It's possible.

The bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes were still blooming during the '10 edition of the Cloudrider Run.

From the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center......

'Typically, Lupinus texensis (Texas bluebonnet) begins blooming in early to mid-March and reaches its peak around the first weekend in April. Blooming continues on into late April and early May. Weather conditions may influence the bloom period, but there should be ample blooms the last weekend in March through the middle of April.'

I remember Randy leading us on the Willow City Loop on the way down to Junction. Isn't that in the same basic area, like around Fredericksburg?

The loop was pretty cool. The flowers were beautiful, the vistas top notch, the cattle guards interesting......

The Willow City loop is off of 16 between Fredericksburg and Llano.

The big problem is that if the flowers are great, the traffic on the Loop is absurd due to all the folks from Austin making their obligatory trip out of town on the weekend.

Planning on having lunch at Sodolak's Wednesday PM, Belton later on that day.
