I have the Andrews molly seem to work fine for me ,but don't follow the adjustment instructions if you get these .they will be to tight ,it only took 3.5 turns for proper centering of lifter

A little more work but worth it.
when I did my build I kept the stock. I never understood why people put adjustable in,when they already have the heads off.

I kept the stock cause cheaper, never will come loose, and don't have to worry about getting the set up right.

can't swear I will never go to adjustable though.

Yeah, and if you keep solid pushrods, you get the joy of pulling the top end apart so you can change the cams. With adjustables, you don't need to:

1. Drain the fuel tank

2. Remove the tank

3. Remove the entire exhaust system

4. Remove the rocker boxes

5. Remove old pushrods.

Using adjustable pushrods will save at minimum, an hour of your time vs. solid pushrods.

I have never had an adjustable pushrod back off or come loose. Never. Also, if you use the little tapered tool from Jims to correctly align the rocker boxes when you bolt them on, the adjustable pushrods will not rub on a pushrod tube.

Also, some engines like to have a tad more preload in the lifters. With adjustables, it's easy. With solids, you are stuck with what you have.

I am not saying I will never go to adjsutable.
But they do come loose once in awhile. Maybe due to improper set up.

But if I got the top end off anyways, why bother going to adjsutable,as so many do when doing builds?

Also I don't change cams, like a women changes shoes.

Yep, ONLY an hour can buy a lot of piece of mind. Because some people HAVE had them back off or BREAK and paid a lot of money repairing the damage caused by it.

And with Perfect Fit you get lighter and stronger that stock. Mine are the -.030 to make up for the milled heads and thinner head gasket.

That's all true, Mr. Genoway, but what if you have a cam that Perfect Fit pushrods don't accomodate? If you have a cam with a non-stock base circle, and there are no Perfect Fit sizes to fit your need, then you are forced to use adjustable pushrods.

I don't like adjustable straight-wall aluminium pushrods, too fragile. But, I defy anyone to take a Rivera tapered aluminium pushrod and bend it with their bare hands.
