We got home last night in the dark. Alternator on the RV quit somewhere between Beckley and Lewiston, WV. About 225-250 miles out. I ran the generator and used it to charge the coach batteries so the engine wouldn't quit. We were able to make it home, disconnect the car, unload the bike and park the rig in the driveway. I've already got a part number from the neighbor who just recently replaced his for the same reason. He has a Holiday Rambler and I have a Monaco, but they share the same Manufacturer, floor plan and many of the same systems.

Here is the trip map for the RV route. We put about 600-700 miles on the bike riding out from the RV and 43 signs. On the really hot days (there were a bunch) we took the CRV and put about 800 miles on it.

Below is a list of points of interest we visited. None of them were originally on any itinerary, as we didn't have one we were tied to. Just happens they were close and were paid a visit.

Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, Pepin, WI (Patti only)
Laura Ingalls Wilder Childhood Home, Walnut Grove, WI (Patti only)
Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
Soo Locks, Sault Ste. Marie, MI
Spam Museum, Austin, MN
John Wayne Birthplace and Museum, Winterset, IA
Eisenhower Birthplace and Library, Abilene, KS
National Railroad Museum, Green Bay, WI.
Gateway Arch, St. Louis, MO

Places we stayed overnight. Most were 1 night, a few were 2 or 3 nights. The upper peninsula farm we stayed 5 nights.

Douthat State Park, Covington, VA (Been here before)
Wright Patterson AFB, Fam Camp, Dayton, OH (been here before too)
Camp Perry (Army Reserve) Fam Camp, Gaylord, MI (won't return)
Friends Farm, 12 mile road, Pickford, MI
Apple Creek RV Park, Appleton, WI (Stay in Big Rig side only)
Nelsons Landing RV Park, Nelson, WI
Ledges State Park, Ames, Iowa (Nice place, would return)
Wagon Train State Recreation Area, Nebraska (too much dust)
Milford Lake State Park, Junction City, Kansas (lake was 27+ flood stage)
Queens Casino RV Park, East St. Louis, IL (close to downtown)
Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, KY (Nice site, too many people)

I also got in 3 rounds of golf, twice in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and once in Appleton, WI.

My hunting buddy Chuc'ss 7 x 7 Elk. He's a life long Michigan resident and has been applying to draw a bull tag for 30 years. He was finally successful in 2017 and took this trophy. Good thing too, as once you draw a bull tag, you can't apply again even if you were un-successful. A cow tag you can re-apply after 10 years.

Sorry about the sideways pic, but oh well. Congrats Chuck.
