I'm thinking about enabling my netbook computer with a GPS chip, and putting a handlebar mount onto my Road King for it. Then I can run googlemaps or MS Mappoint in GPS enabled mode while watching videos.

I could use a 2 gallon ziplock bag to rainproof the whole thing...

If you went with that setup, I would highly suggest getting a 3G USB card to make it Internet enabled.....

Just get a wetbook and skip the bag thing. That would be unattractive

A RAM mount will fix your issues on the handlebars.

I bought one that mounts under the mirror, is rock solid, and is infinitely adjustable.
