Exigent Motorcycle Covers
I needed something for the new Road King. Even with keeping it in the shop it will get dirty within hours. A day or two and it needs to be washed. Yes, this is Texas. Since it is indoors I didn't need a rain cover, just a cover. After a bit research I decided on an Exigent King Dust Cover.
When I completed the order online, it said I had to call to make payment. They apparently don't accept payments online. I spoke to Jim, a nice enough, down to earth kind of guy who owns the place. He informed me they are having difficulties getting material, and they didn't have the King Cover in stock, but they could substitute the Dresser Dust Cover at no additional charge. I agreed and paid with a credit card. The cover came 3 days later.It is very light, made of thin, yet seemingly strong material. It included a storage bag for when the cover is not in use. Unfortunately, the cover it's not designed to be put on a hot bike, so you have to let the pipes cool down. Other than that, it seems like a great cover for about half of what the moco charges. Well see how it stands up to "Dan abuse". BTW, the Dresser cover is supposed to be large enough to accommodate a full dresser with tour pak. After putting it on, I highly doubt it will cover a tour pak. It just doesn't seem big enough. There is also no provision for an antenna. See the pic below.    Sent from my SM-G998U1 using Tapatalk
