 Tonya just called from Walden, Co. about four hours south of here, give or take a few road construction delays and elk migrations. I'm headed out to meet her in front of the Virginian Hotel in Medicine Bow, WY. (Any Owen Wister fans out there?)Whee!

mornin' y'all. . .Margarita came to Medicine Bow and fetched me back to her place yesterday afternoon late. She found me hanging out at the Virginian Hotel/Bar. . .cool little place with a lot of "different" folk.
 I started out in Salida, Colorado yesterday at a cool 55 degrees. . .I think it was close to 90 by the time we got to Margarita's house. There was a moment when I was rolling across Wyoming enroute to Saratoga that I thought I had been transported back to Big Spring. Very similar terrain, but different. lol! Lots of deer, and cattle on the public lands in Wyoming, Margarita seemed to take it all in stride. I think I was in bed by 9 pm last night and slept like a stone. . . 1071 miles so far. . .the dragonflies were dancing for me this morning. Life is good!
