a funny story

this is classified n/c no civilians they would not understand. for my own reasons i need to get to iraq as active duty. i have been vying the options for a long time and it is something i had to at least try and do so i called the army recruiter the other day and ask him if he had time for a dumb question and he said yes so i said i am retired air force and would like to join the army as a 11 bravo infantryman for the shortest enlistment available. he said ok how old are you? 47 oh we will need a waver then i told him the kicker i am 100% disabled for ptsd oh he said well if you can get the v.a. to release you we can live with your past medical history we will need another waiver, then he asks how long were you active and i told him and he said NO WAY we try to take people as a e-5 and you have to much time in service you have to be shi**en me you will wave age and crazy but not time in service so i said no waver and he said no way. so i offered him my youngest son and we laughed and hung up. i know it was up hill to try but he said just trying would be enough to make me fail the mental.
