Anyone Intererested In a Torque Value chart that you can actually find shlt in...
I've gotten so frustrated trying to find torque values in the no alphabetized, scrattered all throughout the manual, piece of crap hunt and peck frikkin' method forced upon me by some mouth breather....
I'm working on an organized, alphabetical, by category or area listing. I've also put a calculation in there that gives you the mean torque value in the range given so you don't have to sit there and figure each one out each time... Maybe too anal for you... but it will make doing services easier... I hope... Open to suggestions... (NOTE: Although I've double checked these files, I don't guarantee the info... course... neither does HD...) (EDIT: Updated and added some page numbers for hard to find torque sequences... ) (EDIT: Add a separate Critical Fasteners Only List...) Updated Post 1 with all the torque values from chapter two and added some from other areas where it was just damned difficult to find the values and torque sequences...
Decided to go ahead and add page numbers for torque sequences... will work for the 2005 manual anyway... probably damned close in others... At some point, someone is going to have to double check me... |

Great job 8. But I'm sayin. Most talk about adventures when riding the bike. I'm not drawing any conclusions though.
