Dan Massey from Michigan hit by Floridian driver
Hey guys,
I just got a phone call from Dans girlfriend that Dan was hit while riding his bike in Florida this past Friday. Sounds like he's gonna make it but his left leg is crushed and his right kneecap is shattered. He's going back into surgery as I speak. They put umbrella stents in both of his legs to prevent any blood clots from going to his heart or lungs which could be fatal. He is at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers Florida.
Those of you who were at the Colorado trip know Dan, he was riding the black cherry Street Glide. I'll keep you posted but please keep him in your prayers...

Man, I hate to hear this. Dan is a soft spoken generally all around nice guy.

It was a genuine pleasure to meet him in CO... I hope all turns out well.

I once knew a dan massey from I think Michigan years ago. Met him several times down the Keys whilst Scuba diving. He would travel down there with a trailer and stay a week.

Can you find out if thats the same guy?
