Da Wife’s New .38…..

So Autumn wasn’t all that comfy with the whole semi auto thing with one in the chamber, no matter how I tried to explain that trigger pull is the only thing that matters in either, as neither have external safeties.

She likes it tho, but even with 148gr wad utters the damn thing Is pretty snappy for her. Two range sessions and she is is getting more proficient by the round. Surprisingly the LCR had a better trigger then S&W Airweight (new ones anyways) but that light little rig is a definite skill set……

I bought my wife the same piece. She loves it. Especially the laser grips I added. Zeroed in for 30 feet.

If I had seen one of those at my LGS ( or as most of the people in town like to call it, the grocery store) one would have followed me home.
Still looking for one in 9MM flavor, it's on the list.

My CA legal one, that is now a safe queen, had to have one to be approved in the nanny state. But... all my newer M&P's and the S&W semi's all have safeties on them as I am old school and want it that way.

My trusty Glock 43, soon to be matched with a Gen 5 34 that is just getting some internal tweaks done. Then it is what MOS.

The 43 is below, the extended mags are needed for my mitts and are getting colour and texture matched at Lohmans right now…..

Load her up some 38 special rounds and that will tame it. 148 grain hollow base wadcutters loaded hollow side out over 3 grains of bullseye powder. Low recoil with soft lead bullet that expands very well.
