How much difference
... is there between the '07 seats, and the '08 seats, on touring bikes? I know they are different to accommodate a longer tank, but could an '07 be modified to fit an '08? Hopefully the Road Zeppelin will be available at some point, with the '09's getting ready to come out.

The 07's and earlier have a tab on the seat that goes into a slot in the frame. On the 08's the seat has a slot, and the tank has the tab. Completely opposite. Can it be modified? Sure. Not by me though....... too much work!
