I'm not a "sports fan" and even I find myself rooting for the Cubs;
First it was "hope they don't get skunked!" And game one fixed that, then bam bam bam, oh crap, I hope they can at least get one more... and then, maybe they can force a seven-game series, that would be cool! And now here we are. At least we can watch these games in the normal TV manner.
As for the SF games they are blocked from broadcast here as we are in the "local broadcast market" (only 300 plus miles away. Can't even pay for MLB extra innings and get them, local broadcast market blocked...

Unbelievable! The Cubs got there, got one (won't get skunked!) then went to 1-3 and looked like they'd be swept out early, as the only way to actually win would now require that they win ALL THE REST, three in a row; every game is sudden death, now, and then they woke up(!) forced it to a seventh game, got ahead in the first, piled on a few more runs and *crap!* let it get tied up in the fifth, went into extra innings, and then pulled there asses out of the fire in the tenth.

Yep, instant classic for sure. Glad I stayed up to watch the finish. Damn near turned it off when it was 5-1.
