Just got a factory recall letter...

for my 2001 Olds Intrique


Turns out it's for the key/ignition problem that was recently in the news. Don't have a whole lot of chit on the ring, just the key and the fob.

Mayhaps that's why I never experienced a problem. I never saw fit to hang two pounds of jingle-jangle from the ring that I'd then have to try and stuff in a pocket.

Some of the switches were built correctly, some weren't.

So catch up /fix is to replace them all. Because they have no way of tracking which cars they went into.
