LED lights and load equalizer installation help needed
I just bought a pair of mini LED bullets for the rear of my bike, the squirrley part is they came with no information for wiring them up. The bullets are supposed to be used as run/brake or run/signal, my option I guess. The bullets are 3 wire - red / black / white. I know I need to use a load equalizer but the choices are pretty much endless as far as price and manufacturers go. I know how to wire up a simple circuit, but I know squat about LED's and load equalizers. Any help in the right direction would be mucho appreciado.
Questions; 1 What should I look for in a load equalizer? 2 How many do I need? 3 Can I use an H-D run/brake/ turn signal module with the bullets? 4 How do I wire them with 2 wires coming from the harness and the LED bullets are 3 wire?

I would check with Badlands, they have a bunch of modules for that stuff. I just installed both their self canceling turn signals and their run/stop/turn modules and they were easy to install and Badlands themselves were very helpful with advice.

I'm a big fan of Custom Dynamics. Their stuff is simple to install and flat-works. The Load Equalizer, RBT module, and LED signals all survived the wreck and are in use on the new bike. For their stuff, everything connects under the seat.

Thanks, Tom. I have looked at the Badlands and Custom Dynamics stuff but still don't have a clue as to what I need, guess I'll give em a call on Monday. I'm also waiting for a reply email from the dealer I bought the bullets from for some direction.

Where the directions said brown wire, I had light brown and dark brown and while I figured it out, Rick asked for more info so they could make the directions better. I would buy from them again. I also just rode in the rain the past three days and no electrical problem.
