The inch pound torque wrench is a good investment unless you don't mind doing the math to convert in. lb. to ft. lb.

My 01 primry, touring, holds a quart. I got a plastic hose, that I stick a funnel in, and dump it in the inspection cover, easier then derby.

Google will convert units. Put it in the search and will convert

Also I think I am going to start replacing the primary plug more often. Did it around 50k, cheap plug. If it stripped would suck.

I have started putting antiseize on derby bolts. I have had 3 strip. Its probably my fault. Yes I use inches. But one has not stripped since I started with the antiseize. I think I had funky thread. Dunno.

A word about torque wrenches, most are rated for high (2%) accuracy at 20-100% of their adjustment range. Expensive ones, like Snap-on, will only lose a few points, like from 2 to 4% in the bottom 20%, but cheap ones can be wayyyyyy out.

In other words, only use your torque wrenches from 20-100% of scale if you are really concerned about the fastener. Also aim for the nominal torque, not the upper or lower boundaries given in the manual, e.g. for a range of 5-10, go for 7.5. That range is there to account for the inherent inaccuracy in the wrench.
