My dad loved grilled onions and baked beans during family road trips.

my dad's gas was so bad it permeated into the walls of his bedroom. The room could not be aired out enough. My mom put up with it for 42 years. My dad remarried after she died and moved out to California. Years later when my daughter was 6 we flew out there to visit her grandfather. I told her about the walls. When we went to his new house we checked out the bedroom and sure enough that same pungent odor was there. Grossed us out completely.
