I gotta tell you, the new cams with the extra compression in the DeweyHead are awfully nice. 1,100 pounds of bike and rider get to triple-digits really quickly. It's much faster than the BSL was, and it doesn't give up much of anything to the CVO with an Andrews 57. In real-world riding the CVO might have been a touch quicker, but we're in hair-splitting territory there.
It'd be interesting to find that bike and put the Jackpots back on it. I'd be willing to bet that there isn't much of a heads-up difference....And that the slight power deficit (10hp over 1100 pounds just isn't that much) might just be made up for by the better aerodynamics. No joke folks, I was really (pleasantly) surprised by how fast I got to 100. Sent from my iPad, probably while I'm pooping.
