Riding West
Tonight I find myself in Corydon IN, tomorrow hope to be West of KC.
One day at a time... Dropped by Woodfords Reserve, as I saw the sign, if there is only yourself,the guy behind the counter and the security guard in the waiting area, the guard gets all testy if you talk to him. He does have his badge hanging on his belt and packing a large Tupperware sidearm....

Really funny thing on my return is I'm seeing towns I passed through getting to WV, that I don't remember going out.
Like Charleston WV, when Dan and I rode through, I just remember the construction cluster we got through. Today with the lane shifts and highway signage in the correct placement, if construction wasn't going on, I started East on I 64, d`oh! So first offramp and six blocks paralleling the highway until I came to signs directing traffic to the E/W on ramps of I 64.

Tonight I am in Lawrence KS for the evening.
St. Louis wasn't too bad getting through. Just paying close attention to road signs, helps if not rush hour. As for Kansas City, temperatures were already in the mid nineties 50 miles East. By the time I got to KC was 100 and height of rush hour. Now enjoying some Bigg`s BAN, the "oldest BBQ" in Lawrence KS.

If you are taking I70, the Sternberg Museum of Natural History in Hayes is worth a stop. Great collection of rattlesnakes, among other things.

Sorry pulled into Hays, temperature was 102°, went into the Harley dealer, in the hopes of it being air conditioned and set a bit to cool off. Their machine was outta water, water cooler Luke warm, so just drank their tap water.
Ran into the edge of a thundershower JEO Deer Trail CO, temperature dropped to 83°, what a change.

Saturday evening finds me in FT Collins CO.
After creeping for what seemed like hours, after a Mr Murphy's tailgate while driving 20+ over the posted limit destruction derby had a dust up crash. Tonight hoping for Wendover NV

Made it to Wendover, stupid cross winds suck across the salt flats.
On a note to anyone driving their car out onto the flats from the highway, the guy in the H0nda S2000 was way off the highway and sunk into the slush salt under the surface crust. But he was being traffic friendly as he had his four way hazard flashers on.... Am home now. My ending miles is 35,989 My starting miles 29,943 total for the trip 6,046
