Have you tried the rental section on the HD website? I know there are dealers that don't rent directly will do a rental through the site. Not sure if you have to be a member of HOG or not.

Called and got the same answer. Also tried a place even farther away, in Wellsboro and got the same answer. Believe the only way to do the Poconos is to look to WillkesBarre - Scranton area for a place.

It's looking more and more like Gettysburg may be our best option. I have a call in to swmnkd's BH to see if she can help us out.

Throwing this out there.....the Best Western just west of Cumberland MD, name of the burg escapes me now. Dealer across the street, plenty to eat around. Good riding too

I'll let them make the decision but this might be a wee bit far for the group from LI. Takes them half a day just to get to the U.S.

There were a couple of decent looking places in Chambersburg, PA that were under $90. I'll look again and get names.

There's some amazing riding up there, and it'd be only about 90 miles further than Gettysburg for people coming from Long Island. It's also only about an hour from the Flight 93 Memorial.

If we go to either of those places and anyone's looking to fly and rent from Wayne's dealer, don't land at BWI. You'll want to fly into either Reagan National or Dulles.

I understand that there are several other places we could go but we need some consensus and we need it yesterday. The longer we delay deciding on a location, the more difficult it is going to be to find the necessary number of rooms at an acceptable location. I am reaching out one more time to all those who have expressed interest in this run and asking them to provide input/preferences.
