Packing Day
Breaktime on packing day in Atlanta! We load the truck tomorrow, clean the place. Drive to NC on Tuesday with stuff to relocated.

Have moved 11 times in 19 years. Have been here 8 years though, so I've accumulated more than I'd hoped. Half of the total is books.

When we moved into this house, I told my husband I wasn't moving again for at least 45 years. We've been here 19 years, but I still recall the pain of packing and unpacking- and that was before we had kids.
May everything go beautifully and your new home have plenty of rideable roads with no traffic.

Good luck with that. We just finished an "across town" move into our new (old) house. I HATE moving.....usually the govt moves us but this one was all on our own (and a couple of friends that I almost killed from heart attacks).
9 moves in the last 15 years....and more to come.

My move here was awesome, only because my company paid for everything. The movers came in and had everything packed in 5 hours. It showed up exactly when they said it would. I bought furniture once I got here, and they delivered it soon after.
I know I won't have it this good for my next move. I'll be doing it again in the next few months once I find a house to buy.

I've left the corporate gravey train -- There's no one paying for my move this time!
 Truck's about 90% packed. Called it a night and have set in 'ta relaxin' Remaining task is about 30 minutes of last minute loading, and putting The Pickle on a hauler...
