I was told that those bikes vibrated more. Took more to upkeep. And lost oil like nobody's business.

One of the other Chiefs here in my squadron rides a '72 she bought as a basket case after it had been hit by a semi. She completely rebuilt it herself and has had it for 25 years.

Oh man....yea it doesn't run. I have the top end off of it. Stupid junk Shovelhead quit running after 167,000 miles. It should have gone to 200,000. I wrote Harley about it and they said while rare it isn't unheard of. I hope the Twin Cam is 1/2 as good.
