Today was my first ride of the year. Was it warm? , but i went anyway. 120 mile round trip out to the office in search of something in my desk drawer. Found what I was looking for too.

Here's my ride pics. I had to go to town to get some pain meds for the dog, and it was a beautiful day so I thought I'd take the bike. After stopping at the vet's office I took the long way home. I had heard about a ghost town not too far from here called Stewards Mill, so set off to find it. There's not much left of it but I did find the original General Store built in 1867. Somebody stole the historical marker. Then I found the church which is the oldest building in Freestone County. Next to it was an old cemetery with a bunch of old dead people.

Isn't it odd how dead people congregate in cemeteries?

I thought the two Dakota's were going to get checked off the list during our summer trip of 2019. Unfortunately we just flat ran out of time.

Hawaii will likely be the last one filled if ever. It's been 19 years since I was there last, and wasn't riding at the time. The thought of even renting one didn't cross my mind then either.
