carb fitment
I replaced the needles on my mikuni yesterday, had to remove the carb, whats the best way to know that it is sealed up to the manifold? I hear kinda of a sucking sound, maybe I am was just being sensitive to it, but I don't remember it before. thanks!

I always spray a little brake or carb cleaner at the joints and listen for idle changes. A small rubber hose in your ear, used like a stethoscope, works OK too.

Done this and works. If you can hear a hissing sound I would think it would be running bad. But that is just a guess.

Propane torch does the same as sprays, but without the mess. And it's in the manual.......

used the propane method it worked like a charm, no hissing, just flames, is it supposed to do that? Anyway all is well, just my imagination running wild again, sprayed it up and no change tight as a prom date! thanks!
