Thanks for the tip... I don't think we could have fit a pair of channel locks in there, barely got the dykes in... course I was laying on my back working 'em and Rick was above giving me direction... He said he could see better up there.

Not yet.

It successfully made the trip to the high mountains Saturday PM for dinner and entertainment. The bike runs like a champ when it's cold outside. Wish I did.

I did learn a couple of very valuable lessons Saturday.

1. Don't crank too hard when tightening the floorboard bolts. They tend to shear off.

2. Always do bike work at Mike's house. He has EVERY tool known to mankind. And plenty of extra fasteners. Just in case.

Thanks for all the help.

By the way, I was the one who got the cotter pin back into the clevis from my vantage point over the top.

Just sayin'...
