Shingles

And not the roof kind.

I never had chicken pox that we knew of, however, this confirms what we thought all these years. I must of had them when mom was 6 mo. pregnant and my two older sisters had them.

Although installing the roof kind sucks too!

if you haven't done it already, and are over 60, get the vaccine at your pharmacy, don't have to goto the Dr's office.

Had them at least twice-no fun. Hope you get the meds and send them dormant.

I had them in my right eye a long time ago and it was horrible. As soon as I saw that he had shingles, I went up and got the shot at CVS. He will be getting the shot as soon as he is able. You don't need a prescription for the vaccine if you are over 60!!

I'm taking good care of him, just so everyone knows. I always will, he's the love of my life.

In your eye. Oh. Horrible. Poor Patti! It was bad enough just to have a mild case on the shoulder.

I do have pain, but not as bad as I’ve read it could be. I think I got to the doc early....on anti viral meds. I did have to call him yesterday and let him know Advil and the like was insufficient. He gave me something that takes the edge off......just didn’t give me enough. The prescribed interval is just too far apart and I’m overly ready for the next dose.

Thanks all for the well wishes.

Cowboy had them and didn't have pain. He wasn't 60 yet so getting the vaccine was a PITA.

Hope you feel better soon!
