I kind of like ES and ES kind of likes us.

Granted, it is hard on Pennsylvania tires, but for a Central Location, it works very well.

Regional get togethers suffice for geting together at other times and under the right set of circumstances, I would attend some of those if possible.

With that said, I'll ride just about anywhere given the time and the funds.

I like ES and I will go back, but a change might be good. The Carolinas are shore nice, but I am lazy and don't wanna do the footwork. Just build it and they will come, including me.

Well, it's a good thing that you didn't already hightail it for the Carolinas, then, since they are a wee bit far east for the national...

The Ozarks provide the best centrally located riding, IMHO. No reason to move the national anywhere else. If only we could get them to lower the humidity a bit for us in the future, that would be great.

That is the suggestion I have heard too. Move the date back a couple of weeks to miss a lot of the rain.

JMHO, but I think for location, accommodations, and riding opportunities, ES is pretty hard to beat.

Too many conflicts for folks with families/kids.
You may consider the dates etched in stone.

I think ES is fine for our National. The town is great. The roads in NW Arkansas rock. The hotel set up works really well with party grounds and room out back. Ray always takes great care of us to boot. And It's in a fairly centralized location.

The other plus with leaving it in ES is the fact the other Regional/Paloozas are developing into awesome events on their own. I had a fantastic time in Texas this spring, looking forward to something in the Smokies, and who can discount Mugs/Squishy as well as the Fabulous Fall Cheeseapalooza.

Exactly! And remember, attendance is voluntary. You don't have to go every year, but I do so enjoy seeing as many of you as I can there.

Guess I can't vote since I haven't made it to a National event. I did how ever had one hell of a great time at the Cloud Riders run, and the ride there and back was unforgetable. Like most of the people here, I'd ride anywhere for a gathering if time and money wasn't an issue. It's more about the ride than the destination.... Well the destination is important too.
