I used to get paid to play his music. And liked it, some.
Yes, I was a DJ in a disco. Lighted dance floor and all. Easy gig and good pay for a kid. The change to Beach Music was welcome though. Drifters, Embers, Coasters, bar maids...

When I was younger I couldn't stand their music. Now I hear it and it's really not half bad. I think it brings me back to a younger simpler time.

Funny thing is, The Saturday Night fever sound track was never, ever played at the discos I hung out in...Wasn't really disco.
I did however, take a ride to Brooklyn to go to the club where the movie was filmed. It was a dump and it was full of guidos and yes, it had the dance floor with the lights underneath. R.I.P. Robin
