Humidity.....
Well, Well. My first day in Port Lavaca proper, I know understand what humidity actually means - Holy Crap that is just rude amounts of moisture in the air...
I have lots of security clearances for my line of work but accessing the secure ares of your ports and vessels is impressive with proper background checks. Especially me as a Kanuck, I had a lot of umms & ahhs for a bit put the paperwork came thru after only 10 days...

Every ES, I marvel at the humidity, and use copious amounts of gold bond powder.

I've never gotten used to the humidity. I have to go to Victoria next weekend for my rider coach class and not looking forward to it

I found that using one of those beaded seat pads made of wood, works amazing to prevent Monkey Butt. Never leave home without it. Don't get the one made of plastic beads though.

J. Buffet I grew up down there (Beaumont/Port Arthur/Bolivar peninsula) I was acclimated, but never OK with the humidity. When a Norther would blow through folks would comment on how 'dry' it was afterwards, as the number plummeted to 92%.
