Harleys RDRS system

This article gives just a smidgen more info than the Harley website on the Reflex Defensive Rider System

https://www.rideapart.com/articles/4...y-rdrs-system/

I'm not sure I need, or even want any of it other than the TPMS, but I am curious how it all works.

Sounds like more stuff that will require shop visits to ensure it's working properly, and can't be performed by anyone not certified...

TPMS I can add to my bike.

I'm not a fan of the ABS or Paralleled braking on my new Glide. I'm old school and know how to handle my own scoot thank you, NOT

I just noticed this is my 4343 post. Whoop!

I don't know. Seems like it the features would be helpful to a novice biker who is not use to the 'bulk' of the touring models.

It sounds like a good idea in theory but will likely be something that doesn't work as intended and will require many trips to the dealership for adjustments.

I wonder if you have it, can it be disabled? After so many years of riding I expect the bike to act a certain way in a corner, for example. If, while taking a curve at a relatively high speed, the bike suddenly starts acting differently would it have unintended or even catastrophic consequences?
