GM's employee discount sucks.

Bad.

It used to be more better, back before I could afford to take advantage of it... 30 years ago.

In '84 my Father in law ordered a new, top of the line loaded Oldsmobile Delta 88 Brougham, had his plant manager drive it as a company car for 3000 miles, and got more off of it, dollar-wise, than I saved on my last GM purchase in 2013. Percentage wise... fagettaboutit.

These days, it isn't really worth mentioning, other than it is a no-haggle price. Unless you don't like to haggle, and are willing to over-spend.
We've bought 5 new GM products using the S plan, and it wasn't until I bought my Mopar that I realized I was getting screwed by Gub'mit Motors.

NOPE. Couldn't find the truck I wanted before the 0% for 72mo expires.

For that kinda money I don't feel like too much compromise or settle.

I live in NE IL. I've owned three pickups since 1986. All have been 2 x 2.

I ain't got stuck yet.

And there's nothin' quite like steerin' with the throttle.
