Ammo Outlawed?

Or very hard and expensive to get.

I keep wanting to cross no man's land to freedom. But the boss and daughter won't move.

Be careful out there. I hear that Cali is looking in to outlawing the "pew pew" sound.

Well...during winter we can only use the range on the weekends.

Because BLM says we can't use it on weekdays because that is when the deer fornicate and migrate in that canyon and the gunfire sounds could lead to coitus interruptus.

They get weekends off!

Ammunition has always been the key to controlling firearms. Without ammunition, the firearm is only good as a club or thrown item. For that reason an individual with a desire to shoot should have a lifetime supply of tooling and components to create ammo should the necessity arise.

I've shot WW II vintage 30.06 ammo from the 40's and it shoots fine. Biggest trick is keeping it in a "cool dry" environment. I know that they sell primer and bullet sealer a guy could use if he were really worried. I find storing the ammo in 50 cal sized ammo cans and keeping it in a basement or attached garage has worked for me.

I'm shooting off, little by little, a stash of off the shelf Remington and Winchester sporting ammunition bought in the sixties, which I inherited.

Dad had some 30-30 in the garage in the paper boxes for how many years and I shot it OK a couple years ago just fine.

But I do have some of the metal ammo cans to keep mine in and they were throwing away breathalizer boxes at work when they upgraded to the newer Pelican ones. They are early pelican boxes, no branding but seal quite well and hold multiple pistol magazines and a box or two of ammo for quick grab and go.

if S&W and Ruger left CA because they couldn't or didn't meet the ID demands are the other companies doing it?
Will CA become a revolvers only state?

Even those are limited.

Such as the Ruger SASS Vaquero single action in 45 LC.
I mean if people could carry a single action .45 LC, 1883 clone the streets would surely turn into Dodge City...
