Oh, and PRAY you never have to return anything to Cee Bailey.
I had to get my CC Co. involved.
A$$holes, they were.

I have the 91/2 recurve on my EG and love it. Better protection than the stock height thing.

I don't like the look of the cee bailey shield. Clearviews shield is a great product.

Yep, the Bailey recurve looks to me like something Sigourney Weaver might fight to the death.
BUT, if we all liked the same thing, that would be one very tired woman.

of course, judging from the replies so far I'm not gonna have to worry about that... well maybe from some strange kinda guy like Gordito.

In which case I'll probaby let that big guy just wear himself out on it before the fight.

Kevin,
You lucky dog you. It's still not quite nice enough in Michigan for me to test my clearview I got back in December. I got one 2 inches shorter than stock. Got tired of looking at the edge of the shield. Hopefully this one breaks the wind as well with the recurve.

Yep it is good to be in the spring weather finally...

I do have to say that the windshield took a liitle more work to mount than I expected but I suppose that was because I didnt know that on the RG you have to remove the stock little pieces of weather stripping that HD puts on the fairing.. but once that was done and I prethreaded the two rubber screws on two of the windshields mountings it went very well..
And I will tell you there is no more of that windshield flexing when you are moving down the road..
I didnt get a chance to really open it up.. just to many cops out for St. Paddy's day but the weather is only supposed to get warmer this week... so I will get the chance to do so very soon....

Ride safe and I hope it warms up there soon Rick.....

After a few miles on the bike with the new Clearview windshield I do like the way it works, no more flexing (which causes the buffeting) and no real distortion from the curve.
But I will say that I think I would have gone a couple of inches taller for more wind blockage.
I wonder if any windtunnel testing was done on the Clearview Windshields???

Mine went on well, following the instructions that came with it. Got the 1" taller one for me and I can still see over the top. Is way thicker and no flexing in gusty winds or at idle speed stopped like the stock one did.

I couldn't really see the re-curve till I looked down at the bike from the second story of the motel I was staying at in Ridgecrest. I would reccomend clear view.

Now to see if it can take a quail hit at 70 MPH.
